Zacharias Voulgaris has a BEnd/MEng degree from the T.U.C., Hania, Greece (graduated in February 2003) and an MSc from City University of London in Information Systems and Technology (graduated in 2004). He has completed a PhD on Pattern Classification (finished in May 2009) using a novel approach based on a class separability metric he coined Discernibility. Since June 2009 he has been working at ICSL as a post-doc research fellow, with Prof. Vachtsevanos on various projects on Fault Diagnosis and Failure Prognosis.
