Manzar Abbas earned the B.E. degree from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan in 1999 and the Masters of Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2007. He joined ICSL in summer 2005 and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
In the past, he has carried out applied research in the areas of fault diagnostics and failure prognostics of electrical, electrochemical, electromechanical and electronics systems. Currently, he is working on developing a methodology to analyze fault propagation from one subsystem to the other subsystems with a specific focus on turbo machinery.
